“Joie de Vivre” (the joy of living) is the first in this series, painted with a palette of refreshing greens, soft peach, and whimsical plums. These colors were intuitively chosen—intended to evoke renewal, tenderness, and delight, like spring returning after a long winter. The "joie de vivre" series reflects a return to life, a spiritual reawakening after wintering, grief, or stillness. What sets this first piece apart is the flash of bold orange-red—a brief but powerful burst that speaks to the life force burning strong within us.
