An original oil pastel mini-painting, hand-painted by Kristin 
Vanderlip. 

This painting is the 3rd in the "joie de vivre" series, painted with a palette of refreshing greens, a gentle coral, and rich fuschias and plums. These colors were intuitively chosen—intended to evoke renewal, tenderness, and delight. In No. 3, the strokes flow in a gentle cascade of color. Flecks of green and fuchsia appear in soft peachy coral—what I like to think of as “happy mistakes” from the blending process. These unexpected touches add a sense of spontaneity and whimsy, making this piece feel especially alive.

This mini pairs beautifully with others in the series or stands powerfully on its own.
