This painting is the 4th in the "joie de vivre" series, painted with a palette of refreshing greens, a gentle coral, and rich fuschias and plums. These colors were intuitively chosen—intended to evoke renewal, tenderness, and delight. In No. 4, the colors flow horizontally, offering a sense of steadiness and calm. A subtle upward turn emerges near the top of the piece—right where the deepest, richest hues gather—suggesting movement and quiet strength of rising.

This mini pairs beautifully with others in the series or stands powerfully on its own.
