“Sing Over Me" is a colorful, abstract landscape featuring a wilderness of greens (olive green, grassy green, lime green, evergreen, and turquoise) behind a calm, warm water of subtle pinks and peaches. A sky of subtle light gray clouds with a hint of light blue appears in the background.

The inspiration for the title of this painting comes from Sue Monk Kidd's The Book of Longings.
