Inspiration: The color palette for this piece was inspired by a bouquet of flowers I bought at a grocery store. As I thought about the feelings those colors evoked in me, I thought about hope. I’ve had past encounters with hopeless thinking that fits the 3 p’s of permanent, personal, and pervasive. I painted this painting and wrote these words as a short blessing for those of us who struggle here:
