Rooted in the gentle rhythms of my lament journal, this sacred time offers guided journaling prompts, a repeatable framework for reflection, and the quiet companionship of others who understand the weight of grief without feeling the pressure of carrying anyone else's emotions. Whether your grief is fresh or decades old, whether it stems from death, trauma, or another kind of heartbreak—this space invites you to slow down, listen, and find healing through words. You don’t have to be overwhelmed by your grief—or by a blank page. Each session offers gentle guidance, so you never have to figure it out alone.
Write Your Grief is a monthly virtual journaling session designed for anyone carrying sorrow, navigating loss, or simply seeking space to tend to the ache within.

WYG sessions are offered live on Zoom on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 9 am PT/noon ET. These sacred midweek gatherings are offered monthly so you can return again and again whenever you need a gentle pause to write and reflect. Each session lasts between 40-60 minutes. Replays are not available; however, you'll receive a follow-up email with prompts and reflection notes, in case you’re unable to join us live.

"Kristin, Again your workshop tonight was so well-led and personally impactful for me. I was exploring resentment, and I landed in a place of gratitude that I completely did not expect. Thank you! I am not someone who usually journals and I've been so blessed by your workshops."

Do I have to share what I write?
No. This is a private, reflective writing experience. You will not be asked to read aloud or share anything. These sessions are designed to hold your grief gently and privately without the weight of others’ grief on your shoulders.
What if I’m new to journaling?
You are absolutely welcome. You don’t need to consider yourself a “writer” to benefit. Each session includes gentle guidance and prompts to help you begin—no experience required.
Will there be a replay if I can’t attend live?
No. These sessions are intentionally designed to be experienced live, in the quiet presence of others. Due to their sacred nature and out of respect for participants, I do not record these sessions. However, if you register and can’t make it, I’ll send a few prompts and reflections afterward so you can still write on your own.
What kind of grief is this for?
All grief is welcome here—whether big or small, from a death, loss of a dream, relationship pain, illness, trauma, or anything else. If you're carrying sorrow and looking for a space to tend to it with care, this is for you.
How much does it cost?
Each monthly session is $20. This includes the live Zoom gathering, guided journaling prompts, and follow-up resources for continued reflection.
What’s your refund policy?
Due to the nature of these live sessions, refunds are not available for no-shows. The registration fee helps protect the integrity of the space—it encourages commitment, honors the time and care I put into preparing each session, and ensures that those who sign up are truly ready to engage with the practice. That said, I understand that life is unpredictable, if you experience an emergency or extenuating circumstance, please email me. I’ll always do my best to respond with care and understanding.
Why are these sessions offered mid-day in the middle of the week? Do you offer any evening or weekend sessions?
I chose this time with both intention and necessity. Midweek midday offers a quiet, reflective pause—a sacred pocket of time to come back to yourself in the middle of your week. I also needed to choose a time that aligns with my own season of life and responsibilities, especially as a working mother. Evenings and weekends are often full for many of us, and I’ve found that this midday rhythm offers a gentle consistency that honors both your time and mine. Whether you join on your lunch break, block off the hour, or simply listen in with your journal nearby, you’re welcome here—just as you are.
