What’s saving my soul right now?
1. Praying Psalm 13.
2. Paying attention to what makes me pause in wonder and awe.
I’ve got my own hard stuff, and I know you have yours. I wrote an offering of restoration and refreshment recently to help meet us in this place, not knowing how much I would need to return to my own Spirit-infused words repeatedly this week. (You can make sure you get these restorative pauses I offer each month when you become an email friend here.)
If anxiety and emotions overwhelm you right now too, I invite you to slow down and cultivate awe-inspiring awareness and collect wonder with me.
Give yourself permission to feel and lament and cry out to the Lord, and then intentionally choose to shift your hearts focus.
To help, I created this PDF to make Psalm 13 your own prayer.

As this week comes to a close, can you find any moments that caused you to pause and praise?
For me sometimes it really is as simple as a bouquet of flowers in my kitchen. It’s sort of funny that no matter how many times I walk by them, the delight they offer never runs out.
